    Zubeen Garg Launches Anti-CAA Website, Appeals To Global Assamese To Join Campaign

    This website belongs to all the people having the same mindset against CAA: Garima Saikia Garg

    Assam’s heartthrob and singing sensation Zubeen Garg alongside his wife and fashion designer Garima Saikia Garg, Actor Barsha Rani Bishaya, actor Ravi Sarma and singer Manas Robin today officially launched a website ‘Assam Against CAA’— ‘www.assamagainstcaa.in’ here in Guwahati.

    According to Zubeen, the website will focus on all the facts regarding the enacted legislation and affirmed continuing their agitation against the “anti-Assam” bill.

    “A lot of misinformation was spread among the people regarding CAA and through this website, the people will get to know all the latest information about its developments. This is the doorway which leads us to fight for our rights. I appeal to all the people to register their names on the website. Our focus is to withdraw CAA,” he said.

    Speaking on the same lines, Barsha Rani Bishaya said that that website does not confine to the artist’s fraternity but belongs to all the people. She added that all the struggle against CAA is legit and the photos, videos of the protests staged by different organizations, students, common men will be published on the website.

    “This website belongs to all the people with the same mindset against CAA and save our motherland. This is also a reply to the BJP IT cell workers to show that we are united against the law. To all the people fighting against the law this website is a preliminary effort to keep them updated about all the latest developments so far,” said Garima Saikia Garg.

    It is pertinent to mention that Zubeen Garg has been continuously raising voice against the act and leading the movement from the front. The anti-CAA protests hit the state on December 11th, 2019 and continue unabated across the country.
