    Watch Video: 323 Cartons Of IMFL, Valued At Rs 10 Lakh, Seized In Bongaigaon

    The recovered cartons of IMFL were meant for sale in Arunachal Pradesh

    The sleuths of the Excise and Vigilance & Anti-Corruption (V&AC) departments seized 323 cartons of India made foreign liquor (IMFL) from a godown at Chaprakata in Bongaigaon on the night of January 31st, 2020.

    Acting on a tip-off, the officers raided the godown owned by one Sitaram Agarwala and seized the consignment of IMFL, valued at Rs 10 lakh, IGP, Directorate of V&AC, Anurag Tankha said.

    He added, “The recovered cartons of IMFL were meant for sale in Arunachal Pradesh. The owner is absconding. A case is being registered by the Excise Department in this connection.”
