The stage is set and rehearsals are checked for the glamorous Filmfare Awards which is all set to enthral Guwahati tonight. Bollywood bigwigs have already arrived and fans cannot keep calm to get a glimpse of their idol.
Several Bollywood celebrities—Ranveer Singh, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kartik Aaryan who reached Guwahati on February 14th, 2020 for the gala event paced up their rehearsals at the event venue yesterday, videos of which are doing rounds in the social media.
While the Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit was seen doing the ‘Channe Ke Khet Mein’ hook step with stunner Ranveer Singh, the livewire of B-town Mr Singh was also seen getting ready to set the stage on fire.
In a video, donned in a funky colourful outfit the actor placed on a moving trolley was seen firing smoke out of a gun.
A few media reported that Kartik Aaryan would make a heroic entry riding a bike and shake a led to 90s hit tracks of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan’s including his latest release ‘Love Aaj Kal’.

In another video Bollywood Heartthrob Akshay Kumar switching his energetic mode on was seen dancing to one of the hit tracks from his movie Houseful 4– ‘Bala’. He was joined by choreographer Shiamak Davar.
While Ayushmann Khurrana was seen in a retro look, Varun Dhawan got into the groove for the function with ‘Maa Tujhe Salam’. He dedicated his act to the armed forces of the country.
This is for the first time, that the prestigious award function is held outside of Mumbai and in the sprawling city of Guwahati. Elaborate arrangements are being taken to hold the gala event.
The current heartthrob of the tinsel town Vicky Kaushal and celebrity film director Johar will host the gala event.
The Assam Tourism Development Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Times Group to organize the awards show in Guwahati. 50 per cent of the revenue collected from the sale of tickets for the show would be given to the Chief Minister’s relief fund.
Altogether 115 artistes from Assam are all set to enthral the crowd showcasing the rich and vibrant cultural heritage of Assam during the special 12-minute slot allotted for them at the upcoming 65th Filmfare Awards in Guwahati.
While 35 dancers will perform the Sattriya dance choreographed by prominent exponents of the classical dance form Jatin Goswami, the Bihu and fusion tribal dance will be performed by 40 artistes each designed by Ranjit Gogoi, acclaimed cultural ambassador of Assam.
