She won the third international gold on July 14th, 2019. She clocked 23.43 seconds and bagged the top spot in women’s 200m event at the Kladno Memorial Athletics Meet.
In her first competitive 200m race of the year on July 2nd, 2019, Hima clocked 23.65 sec on her way to gold in the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix. After that, she won at the Kutno Athletics Meetclocking 23.97 seconds on July 8th, 2019 in Poland.
On July 13th, 2019, braving a sore back, the ace sprinter from Assam’s Dhing had clocked 23.97 seconds to win the gold. “Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful,” Hima wrote on Twitter.
