    Sikkim School Represents India In China, Secures Position

    A three-member team from Sikkim has brought laurels to the state by bagging the second position in the recently held Robotex Asia in China

    A team of Class XII students of Paljor Namgyal Girls Senior Secondary School (PNGSSS) in the Northeastern(NE) state of Sikkim has brought laurels to the state by bagging the second position in the recently held Robotex Asia in China.

    Three students from Sikkim–Bath Sheba Lepcha, Prerna Pradhan and Sristika Sharma represent India In China

    The three-member team consisting of Bath Sheba Lepcha, Prerna Pradhan and Sristika Sharma took part in the competition which was held in China’s Shanghai  from August 16th, 2019- August 19th, 2019. They were accompanied by their mentor, Ivan D Lepcha, Dhruv Patel and Gopal Maheshwari—both co-founders of Robotex India.

    The students secured second position in the Robotex Asia competition held in China

    They represented India in Lego Line Follower category. Apart from this competition, the team was also selected to represent India in Robotex International in Estonia, Europe after winning the Robotex National title in Ahmedabad in July 27th, 2019- July 28th, 2019.

    The international event had around 5000 participants from across the Asian countries— China, Japan, South Korea, Estonia and so on.

    Post the winning the Indian team expressed happiness and added that they had given a tough competition.
