The Magic Wand tool is great when you have a selection area that has the same color. This can be great for removing the sky from an image or anytime where. But is it a valid alternative to Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, version is available as a free upgrade for existing Pixelmator users). If magic wand is not possible a magnetic lasso would work as an alternative. I only need to select large areas of flat color so the sensitivity of the wand.
