Comedian Kapil Sharma was seen in awe by the beauty of Arunachal Pradesh where he recently visited to attend the Tawang Festival.
He took to Twitter to appreciate the beauty of the state and shared his experience. He wrote, “Arunachal Pradesh where the sun rises the first in the country.”
He also wrote about meeting the “coolest CM” Pema Khandu and extended his gratitude for the warm hospitality during his stay. “Beautiful experience in Arunachal Pradesh with the coolest CM Pema Khandu ji. Thank u for the warm hospitality sir love you.”
Chief Minister Pema Khandu also thanked Sharma for his participation at the Tawang Festival. He wrote, “It was wonderful hosting you in the ‘land of the rising sun’. Thank you for your participation at the Tawang Festival.
Sharma is not over his experience in Arunachal Pradesh as he is still sharing pictures on his Instagram account for the past few days. He first shared a picture where he met soldiers of the Indian Army at Bumla Pass located at the Indo-China border.
He also shared a picture where he was surrounded by monks at a monastery who were taking selfies with him. “Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle and the life of the candle will not be shortened, happiness never decreases by being shared,” he wrote.
It may be mentioned, Tawang Festival which is held in the city of Tawang is a much sought after festival as it is a cultural paradise for travellers who love to explore new cultures especially those of Northeast India.
This year, for the second time in three years a US envoy inaugurated the festival in an area which China claims to be a part of South Tibet. The US Ambassador to India Kenneth Ian Juster on October 28th 2019 inaugurated the festival.
