Bike-borne miscreants allegedly looted Rs 50,000 lakh cash from a woman in Noonmati area in Guwahati on November 21st, 2019. The victim later lodged a complaint at Noonmati Police station in this regard.

As per the complaint, when the woman, Astami Bharali was walking back home after withdrawing cash from the State Bank of India, Guwahati Refinery Complex branch, the two youths in a blue-colour Pulsar motorcycle came from the back and waylaid her.

She shouted for help, but by then the bikers had managed to flee from the spot. Bharali, a resident of Noonmati Sector 2, came to the bank with her granddaughter.

An investigation into the matter has been launched into the matter. It may be recalled, two bike-borne miscreants allegedly looted a bag containing Rs 2 lakh cash from a woman in Narengi area in Guwahati on November 19th, 2019.
