The National Democratic Front of Boroland, Progressive, NDFB-P celebrated its 33rd Raising Day in various designated camps of Assam including Barbari in the Baksa district on October 3rd, 2019.

To mark the occasion, the NDFB-P hoisted their flag and paid floral tributes to the martyrs followed by a speech delivered by the NDFB-P president Dhiren Boro. He congratulated the outfit organisation leader and members on its raising day.

Speaking with the media the Dhiren Boro led NDFB-P said, “We agree that there has been a division and we have formed our own group with a strong 250 members working in unison for the peace process,” said Dhiren Boro, President of NDFB-P.

“We are positive to sort out the long pending demand with a political dialogue with the Central government, state and BTC government,” added Boro.

In August this year, Dhiren Boro alias B Sungthagra and former commanding officer of Eastern Zone, Fresh Mushahary alias M Fwilao were expelled from their outfit for their attempt to ‘destabilise’ the organisation which led to formation of another outfit.
