A person died after a train ran over him in Bokajan town located in Karbi Anglong district of Assam on September 4th, 2019.

The deceased has been identified as Biswajit Bhattacharyya and he was a resident of Bokajan town.

As per reports, Biswajit was hit by the Assam Express train while he was crossing the railway tracks.

A pall of gloom has descended the town after the incident.
