    Kamakhya Temple To Open After June 30

    Since the cases related to the COVID-19 are rising, the temple will remain closed for devotees

    Despite the government allowing the religious places in India to open up from June 8 in a phased manner in the Lockdown 5.0, but Kamakhya Temple authorities have decided to keep the temple closed till June 30.

    The temple authorities said that since the cases related to the COVID-19 is rising day by the members associated with the temple have decided to open the temple only after the Ambubachi Mela. The temple will be open for visitors after June 30 if the situation improves in the country.

    This decision was taken because the risk of the virus being transmitted to people is still there and day by day, the country is witnessing more cases.
