    Jatiya Oikya Mancha To Merge With BJP In Assam

    The BJP MLA Ramakanta Dewri said the leaders of the Jatiya Okya Mancha will join the saffron party on August 30th, 2019

    Jatiya Oikya Mancha, known for its vital role in regional politics, led by Ramakanta Dewri is all set to merge with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Dewri on August 20th, 2019, told TIME8 that the leaders of the Mancha will join the BJP on August 30th, 2019.

    The BJP legislator from Morigaon Dewri started the Tiwa Jatiya Oikya Mancha in 2013, later known as Jatiya Oikya Mancha and played a vital role in regional politics. In 2016, the Mancha tied the knot with BJP in the state assembly election.
