A 63-year-old coronavirus positive patient died on March 22nd, 2020 taking the total death count in India to six.

A 38-year-old man from Bihar’s Patna with a travel history to Qatar died at AIIMS on March 21st, 2020.

The deceased’s sample have now tested positive for coronavirus.

India has recorded a total of 324 position coronavirus cases till now.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for a ‘Janata curfew’ from 7 am to 9 pm on March 22nd, 2020 in a bid to stop the chain of transmission.

Public transport – from trains to buses – will not run and all restaurants, shops excluding pharmacies and grocery stores will be closed in the country on March 22nd, 2020.
