In one such incident, one Facebook user who goes by the name Anirban Chakraborty, a resident of Guwahati shared a video of a food delivery boy crooning a popular Hindi song and the video has got all the attention of netizens that it deserves.
The video shared by Anirban on August 12th 2019 features Pranjit Haloi who is working for Zomato, singing the iconic hit song Gori Tera Gaon Bada Pyara. The caption of the video read as ” To my all Frnd , Presenting Pranjit Haloi ( Zomato delivery boy who delivered food today at my doorstep ) …. I saw in the app that ” he wishes to become a singer someday ” .. I planned and requested him to sing a song. He is so good that i made this video … I request everyone to watch and help to fulfill his dreams …”
The video soon caught the eye of netizens who appreciated the efforts of Anirban to giving the limelight to Pranjit and also praised the mellifluous voice of the delivery boy. The video has garnered 11k likes, 8.9k shares and 788 comments and it has caught the attention of the right people as Anirban on August 18th, 2019 shared on his facebook account that he was approached by Voice of India, an Indian TV reality show aired in &Tv asking for Pranjit’s number.
