    Enquiry Committee To Probe Into Alleged Irregularities In JB Law College

    The Committee will submit the report within 30 days

    The Higher Education Department, Government of Assam has constituted an enquiry committee to conduct an enquiry into the alleged allegations against the Governing Body of Jnanadabhiram Borooah (JB) Law College in the city.

    The members of the enquiry committee are- Prof MK Chaudhuri, Advisor, Education Department as chairmen; Maninder Singh, Addl. Chief Secretary, Education Department as a member and Gitimoni Phukan, Director of Higher Education as member secretary, a government press release stated.

    The Committee will examine the alleged gross irregularities, mismanagement and functioning of the president of the governing body of JB Law College as alleged by the JB Law College Students’ Union and a member of governing body of the College.

    The Committee will submit the report within 30 days.
