    Eight ULFA Cadres Surrender Within 24 Hours In Assam’s Tinsukia

    The cadres submitted 6 MQ81 rifles, 15 magazines, 435 live bullets and 2 hand grenades

    A total of eight cadres of the banned militant outfit United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) surrendered before police within 24 hours in Assam’s Tinsukia district. A total of six cadres surrendered before the Tinsukia police on October 25th, 2019 while two surrendered on October 24th, 2019.

    The cadres have been identified as Pabitra Asom alias Fomen Moran of Kakapothar, Alok Asom alias Mintu Moran, Marsent Asom alias Pranjit Moran of Baghjan, Abon Asom alias Rajib Moran of Doomdooma, Sanjog Asom alias Milanjyoti Mahnata of Makum, Puran Asom alias Kalyan Barua of Makum’s Sukani village, Pranjal Kakati alias Rana Asom of Rajgarh in Dibrugarh’s Tingkhong and Bijit Kanti Bora alias Luit Asom of Bordumsa.

    The cadres submitted six MQ81 rifles (AK series), 15 magazines, 435 live bullets and two hand grenades.
