Dumper Crushes Two To Death In Assam’s Cachar

In an incident, two youths died in a tragic road accident on August 29^th, 2019, in Assam’s Cachar district. The incident took place at Ujan Tarapur in Lakhipur in the district. The deceased have been identified as 19-year-old Selim Ahmed and 21-year-old Saharukh Khan Borbhuyan.

The dumper was en route to Lakhipur from Silchar. As per information, the dumper hit a motorcycle at Ujan Tarapur coming from the opposite direction. Selim, who was riding the motorcycle, died on the spot and Saharukh succumbed to his injuries and died in the Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH). However, the dumper driver and the handyman managed to flee the spot.
