    Dhubri Student Goes Missing From Hostel In Bengaluru

    Arghyadeep's maternal uncle, Ashim Mandal informed that his mobile phone was found switched off since around 8 pm on February 11th, 2020

    A student hailing from Dhubri district of Assam has been missing from his hostel at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bengaluru since February 11th, 2020.

    The student has been identified as 23-year-old Arghyadeep Mandal, a resident of Sapatgram town in Dhubri. He is a pharma student in the institute.

    Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Arghyadeep’s maternal uncle, Ashim Mandal informed that his mobile phone was found switched off since around 8 pm on February 11th, 2020, when his mother tried to contact him.  

    An FIR has been lodged with the Bengaluru Police. The student’s friends also could not tell anything about his whereabouts. His parents are on their way to Bengaluru.

    Meanwhile, friends and family of Arghyadeep took to social media appealing everyone to inform if he is spotted anywhere. His father can be reached at 7399466500 and his friend Joydeep at 8638787739.
