    Coronavirus: Confirmed Cases Climb To 182 In India, Death Toll Rises To 4

    No scheduled international commercial passenger aircraft shall be allowed to land in India from March 22nd, 2020 for one week

    A 72-year-old man from Punjab became the fourth casualty of coronavirus in India on March 19th, 2020. As per information, the patient returned to India after travelling to Germany via Italy.

    The first casualty of coronavirus infection was reported from Karnataka. The second patient died at Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital last week. The third patient with coronavirus infection passed away in Mumbai’s Kasturba hospital this week.

    The total number of coronavirus cases in the country surged to 182 on March 19th, 2020. In wake of the coronavirus outbreak, the Centre has temporarily banned the entry of passengers from 36 countries.

    The Central government employees have been asked to work from home till April 4th, 2020. The Punjab government announced the suspension of public transport services from the midnight of March 20th, 2020.

    Indian Railways decided to suspend all concessional tickets except for patients, students and those in the Divyangjan category from March 20th, 2020 to discourage unnecessary travel.
