    Chabua Youth Goes Missing, Mother Urges Paresh Baruah To Send Him Back

    Topobon Gohain of Majgaon in Chabua went missing on January 17, 2020

    Another youth from Assam’s Chabua, who was vocal against the newly enacted Citizenship Amendment Act, went missing.

    The youth has been identified as Topobon Gohain of Majgaon in Chabua in Dibrugarh district. He has been missing since January 17th, 2020. As per information, Topobon went out from his home at around 9 am on January 17th, 2020 and has not returned till date.

    Speaking to media persons, Bohagi Gohain, mother of the Topobon, urged the self-styled Commander-in-Chief of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) to send him back if he joined the outfit.

    It may be mentioned that one Gyandeep Borpatragohain of Bhoroluamukh in Chabua went missing a few days ago.

    The family members lodged an FIR with the Chabua police in the matter but police have no clues so far. “We are investigating the matter,” police said.
