As many as 13 police personnel from Assam Police force will be honoured with Police Medals for their services on the occasion of Republic Day at the national capital tomorrow. A total of 12 police officials will be awarded for their meritorious service and a president’s police medal for personnel for distinguished service.

As per the list of awardees released by Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) around 1,040 police personnel from across India will receive the awards for gallantry, distinguished service and meritorious service.

IPS Nitul Gogoi, Deputy Inspector General of Police(MPC) will be awarded President’s Police Medal. Check out the list of awardees:
