    Bandhan Bank Employee Looted At Gunpoint In Assam’s Nalbari

    The miscreants looted around Rs 30,000 and fled the spot

    In an incident, an employee of the Bandhan Bank was looted at gunpoint in broad daylight in Mukalmua in Western Assam’s Nalbari district on November 25th, 2019.

    The victim, who has been identified as Hirak Jyoti Rajbongshi, is employed at the Rampur branch of the bank.

    As per information, Rajbongshi was en route to the branch after collection of the loan amount at Roumari in Barpeta district when the incident took place at Gorakkhattari in Mukalmua.

    Speaking to the media persons, the victim said, “Three motorcycle-borne miscreants coming from the opposite direction stopped me and put the gun at my forehead and looted Rs 30,000 from me.”

    Meanwhile, one of the eyewitnesses said, “There was no registration number plate in the motorcycle the miscreants used. They stopped Rajbongshi, put the gun at the forehead, looted the money and fled the spot.”
