    Assam Workers Who Alleged Of Receiving Life Threats In Tamil Nadu Finally Rescued

    The youths from Assam who alleged of receiving life threats in Tamil Nadu has been recovered. A group of 13 youths are returning back to Guwahati via Humsafar Express on August 29th, 2019.

    Anand Mishra, Charaideo SP informed Time8 that Sipcot Police Station under Krishnagiri District in Tamil Nadu has rescued the 13 persons. “The matter has been resolved. We are in contact with Anil Panika and others,” said Mishra.

    Mishra also said that he had sent money for train tickets for the return of the youths. “They were scheduled to board the Humsafar Express on August 27th, 2019 but due to some reasons, they missed it. As a result, they will spend the night under the Railway Protection Force’s protection and will board the train on August 28th, 2019. Money for tickets has been sent,” added the SP.

    It may be mentioned that Time8 has earlier reported about the youths who accused of being tortured and put under house arrest in an unknown place by one Alom in Tamil Nadu. A video of the youths appealing for help has gone viral on social media on August 26th, 2019.
