    Assam Min Dismisses Alleged Anomalies In Irrigation Exam

    This is not the Congress government to sell jobs: Bhabesh Kalita

    Assam Minister of Irrigation (Independent), Bhabesh Kalita on February 2nd, 2020, dismissed alleged anomalies in the recruitment examinations in the Irrigation Department held on February 1st and 2nd, 2020.

    Speaking to the media persons, Kalita said, “No anomalies took place in conducting the examination for the post of section assistant in the department.”

    The Bharatiya Janata Party leader further accused the opposition of trying to malign the government. “Opposition is involved in spreading fake news against the government alleging that many anomalies took place in conducting the examination,” he added.

    Besides, he said, “This is not the Congress government to sell jobs. The allegations surfacing on social media about the anomalies are baseless.”

    The examination was held for the 397 posts of Section Assistant in the Irrigation Department, Assam.

    Meanwhile, the Leader of Opposition, Assam Legislative Assembly, Debabrata Saikia demanded Chief Ministerial inquiry into the examination paper leakage issue and to withdraw the ongoing exams.
