Hajela further said, “Queries are also received from the public about issue of certified copies of rejection from final NRC. The public are aware that the hearings have been held at various venues away from their designated NSKs. The process of collection of the orders passed by the NRC officers is being carried out to enable early availability of the same to the public to file appeals. Time frame for this process will be announced shortly.”

The final NRC list was officially released on August 31st, 2019, after a six-year-old long process.  A total of 3,11,21,004 persons were found eligible for inclusion in  the list while a total of 19,06,657 people were found ineligible including who did not submit claims.
