Assam born Priyadarshini Inman, now settled in the United States of America, was honoured by the White House at the Washington DC for her outstanding contributions for the fellow Americans.
Born in Duliajan in Upper Assam’s Dibrugarh district, Inman has been conferred with President’s Volunteer Service Award 2019 for ‘serving as a model of the American spirit’ and helping build the community and nation in general. She was born to Tilak Dutta and Nibha Borkataky.
Way back in 2015, she shifted to America and started working with a manufacturing company -Morrisofa Global Inc. In 2016, Inman started working jointly with the Assam and Indian Associations.
Currently a resident of Charlotte city in North Carolina, Inman is actively involved with various volunteering and philanthropic works for the social well-being of the people. Apart from this, she has organised Indian folk music, dance workshops and extended help to ailing people through volunteering.
Marking all her contributions, the Corporation for National and Community service in recognition and appreciation of her commitments to strengthen the national, honoured her with the award.
