    7 Kashmiri Youth ‘Detained’ In Lanka

    The seven of them had reportedly booked their rooms at Fatima Hotel

    As many as seven youths from Jammu and Kashmir were interrogated by the Lanka police on November 25th, 2019 after they were alleged of checking-in into a hotel room without following proper procedures.

    The seven of them had reportedly booked their rooms at Fatima Hotel located in the town and were assigned with 104 and 105 room numbers. Suspecting foul play a group of conscious locals handed them to the local police here. The police are currently interrogating them.

    They have been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed Kasani, Haines Ahmed Kasani, Haked Ahmed Kasani, Reyaaz Ahmed Kasani, Iyaaz Ahmed Khatani. They are residents of the Anant Nath area in J&K.

    The locals alleged that the hotel authorities without making any entry or following a registration process allowed them to stay in the hotel.
