Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Parineeta’ was an adaptation of Bengali novella by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Starring Vidya Balan, Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt, the movie follows the lives of the three characters in 60s Calcutta.
