350 Migrants From Rajasthan Stranded In Assam Head Back Home

They are travelling on the same bus that brought back the stranded Assamese students from Kota

After bringing back the 391 Assamese students to Kota, the buses used for the journey will now take 350 Rajasthanis back to their homes who were stranded in Assam due to the lockdown.

With the help of the Purvottar Pradeshiya Marwari Sammellan, these people are being sent back to Rajasthan.

Most of them have extreme emergencies and so they are being sent back to their home state. Before sending them back, the government cross-checked their causes of travel and allowed them to head back home on the same buses that brought back the Assamese students home.

On April 27, 391 students, who were stranded in coaching hub Kota in Rajasthan, amid the ongoing nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease were brought back to the state on 18 buses.
