    3 Terrorists Killed In Jammu And Kashmir’s Kulgam

    An encounter broke out between personnel of Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force, Jammu and Kashmir police and terrorists in Gudder area of Kulgam district

    Three terrorists were gunned down by the security forces in an encounter which broke out in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on the evening of April 26th, 2020.

    A gunfight started after a patrol party of the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police was attacked in Munda Qazigund, near the Gudder village in Devsar area of Kulgam.

    The patrol party was moving towards the village following inputs about the presence of terrorists hiding in the area. As they approached the village, the security forces came under attack as the hiding terrorists opened fire on them.

    The security forces cordoned a cluster of houses and launched a search operation. The forces came under heavy automatic gunfire from a house where the terrorists are believed to be trapped.

    The search operation is still going on, Jammu and Kashmir police said.
