At least three persons died on the spot and two others sustained serious injuries in a fatal road accident in Digboi’s Tingrai village under Hapjan Tehsil, Tinsukia District of Assam in the wee hours of October 4th, 2019.

As per initial reports, the incident took place along the National Highway 37 when a group of youths were returning back to Tinsukia in their motor vehicles after watching Balijan Karam Sanmilan and met with an accident.

Although the identity of the deceased are yet to be ascertained, the locals claimed that they hail from Bogapani area.
