    11 Killed In Truck-Jeep Collision In Rajasthan

    The deceased were six women, four men and a child, including a newly married couple

    In a tragic incident, eleven people died and three sustained severe injures on March 14th, 2020 after a trailer truck collided with a Bolero Camper in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur.

    The accident took place on the Balotra-Phalodi highway in Shergarh area. The deceased were six women, four men and a child, including a newly married couple.

    The couple were going to the Ramdeora temple when the fatal accident took place. A crane was used to extract the bodies from the wreckage.

    Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeted their condolences.

    “It is very sad to know about the horrific road accident in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. I express my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this accident, as well as wish the injured as soon as possible,” Modi wrote.

    “Deeply saddened to learn about tragic accident on Balotra-Phalodi Mega Highway in Shergarh area,#Jodhpur in which 11 people have lost lives. My heartfelt condolences to those who lost their loved ones,may god give them strength to bear this loss. I wish speedy recovery to injured,” Gehlot tweeted.
